Book description:
Well-known Kansas City photographer Roy Inman helped the City of Fountains Foundation (COFF) create a special edition coffee table book in honor of its 50th anniversary. The City of Fountains: Kansas City’s Legacy of Beauty and Motion is a photography collection of some of the most beautiful, iconic fountains and sculptures in the metropolitan area.
The Foundation created this 144-page book to offer residents and visitors to Kansas City an opportunity to see part of the collection of Kansas City’s beautiful fountains. This limited-edition documentary showcases some of the city’s most beautiful fountains and offers a peek into their history.
In celebration of the anniversary, the Foundation published this book and other fountain items that are available in local gift shops, bookstores and at the Union Station. They became available on the Foundations website, cityoffountains.org, after Fountain Day, April 14, 2023, the day Kansas City’s fountains were turned on.
This book will delight visitors, collectors and residents of Kansas City, the City of Fountains.
