Robert L. Brown
Rob grew up at the Ramona Park Hotel in Harbor Springs, Michigan. He attended The University of Michigan where he earned his football freshman numerals as a tight end. Unlike Beau Lightfoot, the protagonist in Rob’s first novel,The War Chief’s Son, he did not move up to the varsity and become a star. Rob studied creative writing at Richard Hugo House, the University of Washington, and Story Studio. His second novel, Zero Tolerance, was selected as a finalist in the Pacific Northwest Writers Association fiction competition. He lives with his wife, Ruthie, and his bulldog, Gloria (an important character in Zero Tolerance) in Harbor Springs, Michigan, and Chicago, Illinois.
