Alison Neihardt
Alison Neihardt is a licensed professional counselor with a private practice in her hometown of Traverse City in northern Michigan. Alison has been in private practice since 2008 and works with children, teens and parents, as well as grandparents, who are often raising the children for a variety of reasons. Children range in age from three to seventeen and include those whose parents abused drugs and/or alcohol. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Counseling and an Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Education, both from Great Lakes Christian College in Lansing, Michigan. She also holds a Master of Arts in Counseling from Spring Arbor University. Alison has also worked as a volunteer and in paid ministry positions in churches and para-church organizations. She began writing to help others in 2016. Her first book was published in the spring of 2019.
