Walloon Writers Review Fourth Edition captures a balance between the enthusiastic retelling of Up North tales and reflections and creative interpretations in poetry, highlighted by stunning and unique Northern Michigan and UP photography.

Independently edited and produced, Walloon Writers Review is published annually. The magazine presents 28 contributors from Michigan, the Midwest, the US and expats living outside of the US who have lived, had a cottage, visited or traveled through Northern Michigan.

The content is intentionally suitable for general audiences.

The Fourth Edition features Michigan notable writers Thomas Conlan, Glen Young, Carol Oberg, Phillip Sterling, Robert Vivian, along with Suzi Banks, Melissa Seitz, J.W. Jordan and Andrea Dejean, and award-winning nature photographer Linda Gall, along with Kelly Tingle Kazmierski, Katrina Valuyeva, and Charles Rammelkamp to name a few, both professional and amateurs create a dynamic experience. A bonus section of the Crooked Tree Arts Center 16th Annual winning Young Writers Juried Exposition prose and poetry by area young writers is also included.

Walloon Writers Review is an independent literary magazine that celebrates the unique and intriguing experiences of Northern Michigan and the UP in an annual publication. The Fourth Edition marks the largest collection to date. Contributors from as far as Europe and Japan, California and New York have sent in their exciting materials to share.
